I really like how this one came out. It's based off a scene i wrote for my Blindwood novel.
Sable and the Hart of Dartmoor. Also known as the king, his oldest and most trusted friend.
The king is a nod to a great stag that lived up on Exmoor, who was almost 9 foot tall in his time. Apparantly a larger one was recently spotted on the moors, so fingers crossed!
Alright, first critique. Vision-Excellently done. I'm not sure how you wanted exactly but if I were to do this I would be VERY satisfied. Originality-I haven't read the novel yet so I can't answer entirely, but I'd say pretty original characters. Technique-The lighting, rain, expressions, everything is done carefully. Impact-Huge impact. You can easily see the connection between these two characters, I want both if them alive, yet I haven't even read the novel. Overall-Touches you and reveals a little bit of the two characters' personalities. The technique makes me jealous. I don't have enough thumbs for my thumbs up.
Thankyou! I had good fun colouring it, swearing at my blending button The rain i used a stamp for, however - cannot remember where i got it, it was a long time ago! One day I shall learn to do my own rain and not make it look so awful hehe.
Ah, a descendant of the great irish elk perhaps? So large he must have at least a little of the blood... a throwback to a cousin species maybe... A wonderful thing.
